Welcome to Aryiro’s Residence

Embracing the Cretan hospitality as well as the values it preserves, Aryiro’s Residence is looking forward to accommodate you and your family, being able to comfortably host up to six people with ease.

Located in a peaceful and quiet neighbourhood of Alikianos Chania, with a sunny and full of greenery yard to relax and relieve.

The house

Two bedrooms, an open-plan living room, one bathroom — all on one level

Living room & kitchen

One long, bright room

The sofa, the high table and the kitchen share one open space, with windows on two sides and orange trees just beyond the fence. The sofa converts to a bed for the fifth and sixth guest; the kitchen is fully equipped, with an oven and hob. There is a smart TV with Netflix, and a place to sit and work.

Bedroom one · The Mint Room

Green walls and a hummingbird

A king-size bed beneath a hummingbird, a dressing table by the window, roller blinds for late mornings and air conditioning for the afternoons. The window looks into the garden.

Bedroom two · The Mustard Room

Ochre walls and a carved bed

A double bed with a carved headboard, a dresser and mirror against the mustard wall, reading lamps on either side, and air conditioning. Breakfast in bed is encouraged.

Bathroom & hallway

Marble, black steel and a patterned floor

A walk-in rain shower behind a glass screen, black fittings on marble-effect tiles and a patterned floor. Towels, a hair dryer and toiletries are provided. The hallway between the rooms has a full-length mirror by the door.

The yard

Sunny, and full of greenery

The terrace is where the day happens. A round table under the pergola sails for breakfast and long dinners, two sun beds against the wooden fence for the afternoon, and a hanging chair for whoever gets there first.

Geraniums, roses and gardenias grow in the beds along the fence, with orange trees beyond it. There is a large private parking space on the property.

Evenings

Cozy, after dark

Lamps on the walls, a lantern by the door and the living room lit behind the glass. Alikianos is a village: at night you hear the crickets and not much else.

Our location

Alikianos, 12 km south-west of Chania

Aryiro’s Residence is located in the village of Alikianos, 12 km away from the city center of Chania. It is 15 minutes away from the nearest beaches of Chania, 10 minutes away from water park Limnoupolis and 40 minutes away from Omalos, Samaria Gorge entrance. Additionally, there are numerous sights to visit in the nearby villages, such as Manousakis Winery and Agias Lake distanced 5 minutes away. The village provides the necessary facilities such as Super-Market, Pharmacy, Hairdresser’s, Baker’s, ATM as well as some worth-visiting places to enjoy local food or coffee.
